Evanston Writers Workshop Critique Group Submission Guidelines

Guidelines:


In order to submit, you must have attended 2 meetings and critiqued in at least one of those. If you have not yet become a paid member, you must pay ​your dues before your first submission.


  • Please use the naming convention firstname_filename
  • Please include the Genre and any trigger warnings.
  • No more than 3k words unless prior approval from one of the organizers
  • Microsoft word preferred. Google docs if you don't have office. No PDFs or RTFs
  • Page numbers required, if possible line numbers
  • Name and email address on the piece. Preferably not in header so it can be copied
  • Double Spaced Times New Roman 12 or something similar, paragraph indents
  • Email to ewwsubmissions@gmail.com by midnight the Friday before the meeting.



I will take the first 3 submissions that I receive. If there are more than 3 submissions and one person had submitted the previous meeting, they will get ​bumped to the next meeting, if not, the last submission received will be pushed.
